Is crafting part of your life?
I joined Stampin’ Up! during
Sale-a-bration 2016 because it was such a good deal, AND I would get discount
on all of my future purchases. But little did I know at the time that those
incentives were not the greatest thing that I got out of joining this amazing
company. The friendships that I have formed with customers and demo’s and the
lovely ladies that attend my classes, blow the financial benefits right out of
the water. Knowing all of these people has enriched my life in ways I had never
imagined and for that I am truly thankful.
Do you love discounted products?
Do you want to earn money while doing something you love?
How about the convenience of setting your own hours?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then Stampin' Up! is the
perfect opportunity for you.
Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator means different things to different people.
It could mean simply enjoying a discount on products that you already love for
your hobby. But it could also mean getting together with other crafters in an
exclusive club, where you get all the new product news first. And it could also
mean running your own business. Whatever suits you. There is no pressure for it
to be anything apart from what you want it to be.
The Stampin' Up!' Demonstrator Starter Kit is completely customisable! You
build your Starter Kit your way! For just £99, you get -
- Your
choice of up to £130 worth of any current Stampin' Up! products
- A
business supply pack valued at £45
- A free gift and a welcome pack from me
- Free shipping on your starter kit
- And at certain times, Stampin' Up! offer even more rewards for joining.

you build up a team, there is extra earning potential there too.

What is the
quarterly minimum and when are the quarters?
Of course not!! Having a team is not a requirement, it is a perk and we have the opportunity to earn a commission based on our team’s sales! However it is also a responsibility, you will need to support your team and give them training to help them achieve their goals.
Do I have to hold stocks of product?
No. You will only order items when someone places an order and pays you in advance, so you won’t need to keep stock of products.

I would love you
to join Stampin’ Up! and become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, but if you’re like
me, you’ll have lots of questions and won’t want to rush into anything without
all the facts.
I hope this list
of FAQ’s helps, but please get in touch if you need to talk through things with
me to see if the opportunity is right for you.
Anyone, as long as you are over 18 years of age, and live in the UK,
France, Germany, The Netherlands or Austria
How much does it cost to join?
£99 and you can
simply choose any current catalogue products to the value of £130. You
will also receive a business supplies kit which includes catalogues, order forms and
everything needed to get your business started, if running a small business is
what you choose to do. The starter kit is shipped direct to your home
address within approx. 3-4 working days of signing up and there is no
postage to pay.
On all orders placed you receive 20% discount off the net product total. You
can earn more commission the more sales you make in a month and any extra
commission payments are calculated at the end of the month and paid direct
in the bank account of your choice mid-way through the following month.
You also get the chance to pre-order products a month earlier than the general
release as well as very generous offers and discounts including hostess
benefits on all eligible orders.
We would love you to but you don’t have to. If you can reach the manageable
quarterly minimums with your own purchases you can simply join and benefit
from the discounts and deals. There is no pressure from me as your up line
or from Stampin’ Up! but if you change your mind and want to start a class
or two or sell to friends or customers you can. You are in charge and you
set your own targets and goals. It is so easy to share what you are passionate
about and Stampin’ Up! offers some great incentives to get you sharing and
earning so there is lots of scope to earn, promote and be rewarded simply by
sharing what you love and the fantastic products.
It is £270
catalogue price which is £225 net cost to you as a demo The quarters are
January - March, April-June, July-September, October-December
When you join
Stampin’ Up!, you are already within
a calendar quarter, so Stampin’ Up! allows you that first part quarter as a
‘grace’ period. A sort of settling in period for you to find your feet. So
therefore, your first quarterly minimums don’t need to be met until the quarter
after. For example, I joined in February, but I had all the way through until
the end of June to meet my minimums, and anything I bought/sold during February
also counted.
What happens if I don’t meet my minimums?
You will be
given an extra month to try and achieve them, but if you don’t, you are not
required to return anything to Stampin’ Up!, you aren’t obliged to
do anything more, and aren’t tied in to anything. You will simply go into an
‘inactive’ state, and no longer be able to sell or buy at the 20% discount.
However, should you want to rejoin, you can join the same upline immediately by
buying a fresh starter kit. But should you wish to go to another upline, you
must wait 90 days. You get to keep everything that you purchased and revert
back to being a customer.
Do my personal purchases count towards the
quarterly minimums?
Yes! Stampin’ Up! doesn’t mind who does the
buying, whether it’s you, your neighbour, or someone else. They will just look
at your total figures.
I only want to buy products for myself. Is that
okay?
Of course! I
welcome all people to my team, whether they want to make a business, or get a
discount for their own hobby, or anything in between.
Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
Of course not!! Having a team is not a requirement, it is a perk and we have the opportunity to earn a commission based on our team’s sales! However it is also a responsibility, you will need to support your team and give them training to help them achieve their goals.
Do I have to hold stocks of product?
No. You will only order items when someone places an order and pays you in advance, so you won’t need to keep stock of products.
Do I have to pay tax?
This depends
on how much you sell, versus how much you buy.
Always check
with a professional to clarify the details.
I think I might want to make this a business in the future, but at this
stage, I just want to buy a few things for me, is it okay to change my mind as
to what demo I want to be at a later date?
Yes! We are
all called demonstrators, even those who don’t actively demonstrate. However
you choose to enjoy your SU benefits is up to you, and should you head down one
‘path’ and want to move in another direction, then I will fully support you
along the way.
What training/support will I receive?
All the
information you need is also located on the demo website. We have
a dedicated demo support helpline who are amazing.
And there are a number of excellent, private Stampin’ Up! Groups on Facebook that I can add you to after you sign up if you would like me to. They are a fantastic wealth of advice, support and inspiration.
Should I choose a local demo as my upline?
Do you want a local upline to meet up with for support and ideas?
Once you have
decided what you want from an upline, call for a chat as it is really
important that you get along and that your upline can give you what
you need. You may not need training or be interested in meeting up but are
happy to chat with other team members on Facebook. One of the best things
about Stampin’ Up! are the people.
You can choose to be part of the team/community or you can
choose not to be, no pressure but you are free to choose.

demo community), as well as many years’ experience as a customer of Stampin Up,
and can help you as little or as much as you need.
And there are a number of excellent, private Stampin’ Up! Groups on Facebook that I can add you to after you sign up if you would like me to. They are a fantastic wealth of advice, support and inspiration.
Should I choose a local demo as my upline?
You need to make the right choice for you as once you sign up you are unable
to change your upline without resigning and rejoining 3 months later.
Everyone is different and I would encourage you to do your research, don’t
just look on-line pick up the phone and talk to the demo direct. Your
upline does not necessarily need to be local to you and you need to
consider what it is that is most important to you and make your decision
based on that. Some questions you may wish to consider are –
· Do you want business support or help to get your business off the ground?
· Do you want to be left alone?
· Do you want to be part of a community/team?
· Are you on Facebook?
· Are you willing to travel to training/events?
Do I have to have a blog?
No! Having a
blog is beneficial, but not essential. You can have a successful business
without any online interaction whatsoever. Blogs and social networking are
still only a few years old, yet Stampin’ Up! is 30 years old…
To join, all you need to do is complete these quick and simple steps –
· Read the demo agreement and agree to the terms and conditions
· Add £130 worth of any products to the online starter kit order.
You cannot place your first order within 7 days of joining.
You will need to enter your bank info when visiting the Stampin’ Up! demo website for the first time. It is the bank account that Stampin’ Up! will pay any extra commission you have earned back into and you will need your IBAN and SWIFT code. This can be found on your bank statement or your online banking info. If in doubt call your bank for your unique identifier.
