Sail Boats from Lily Pad Lake

How to make this card –

·       Fold half an A4 sheet of Sahara Sand cardstock in half to create an A6 card base

·       Cut a layer from Pineapple Punch cardstock that measures 9.5x13.9cm and adhere to the card base

·       Cut a layer of Whisper White cardstock to 9x13.4cm to do the stamping on

·       Using the wavy stamp from the Lilypad Lake set, and starting at the bottom of the white panel, stamp in Sahara Sand, Balmy Blue and Pineapple Punch inks, moving up the panel as you go. Stamping off to mute the shade where required and stamping off multiple times to create variation in the tone

·       On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the boats twice in Memento black ink and colour in. I used the Stampin’ Write markers in Sahara Sand, Balmy Blue and Pineapple Punch

·       Die cut out the boats with the coordinating die from the Lakeside Framelets and adhere to the background stamping with dimensionals

·       Adhere this panel to the Pineapple Punch

·       To create the sentiment, cut the larger banner from the Lakeside Framelets die set from a scrap of Balmy Blue Cardstock, then the smaller banner from Whisper White Card Stock

·       Stamp your chosen sentiment in Balmy Blue ink on the white banner, then adhere together and trim to fit your project. I chose the Best Wishes from the Cake Soiree stamp set
