A5 Petal Palette Card

How to make this card –

·       Fold an A4 sheet of Thick Whisper White cardstock in half to create an A5 card base

·       Using a sponge dauber and Mint Macaron Ink, create a focal point directly onto the card base in the top third of the card

·       Using the large leafy element from the Petal Palette stamp set and Mink Macaron Ink, add some additional detail coming out from the sponged ink on the card base

·       Stamp the rose cluster from the Petal palette set in Stazon ink coming out to the corners of the card base and colour in using an Aquapainter and ink from the ink pad. (I used Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron inks).

NB – do not pick up ink directly from the surface of your ink pad as this may dilute the ink. Instead, squeeze the center of your ink pad between the heels of both of your hands as this will transfer a little ink to the lid of you pad that you can then pick up easily with your Aquapainter.

·       Cut the large label from the Stitched Label Framelet dies from Whisper White cardstock and stamp onto it the sentiment of your choice from the stamp set in Mint Macaron ink. Then stamp the little flower cluster in Stazon ink and colour as you did the rose cluster.

·       Adhere to the card base, over the sponged focal point, using Stampin’ Dimensionals

·       Cut 2 of the thin trellis pieces in the Petals and More Thinlets dies from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and trim them to tuck under the Stitched label. Adhere carefully with Tombow glue or Fine Tip glue,

“I Just Love You” Lilypad Lake Card

How to make this card –

·       Fold an A4 sheet of Thick Whisper White cardstock in half to create an A5 card base
·       Using Coastal Cabana ink and the wavy stamp from the Lilypad Lake stamp set, stamp waves across the middle third of the card base, also stamping off to create shades of the same colour. The stamp isn’t wide enough to cover the width of the card base so start at the outside edges because the central overlap will be covered up with the next layer
·       Take a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock that measures 14.9 x 10.5cm and emboss using the Seaside embossing folder. Round 2 of the corners with the Detailed trio punch and then adhere this to the card base
·       To create the sentiment, I used my Stampin Write Markers in Coastal Cabana and Real Red to ink up the sentiment from Lilypad Lake as I wanted to highlight the word ‘Love’ in the red. I then die cut this using one of the labels from the Lakeside Framelets
·       To create the focal point, start by adding some double sided adhesive sheet some Coastal Cabana cardstock. I then cut the wavy dies from the Lakeside framelets from it, removed the backing paper and stuck that to a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shape Framelets from this and adhere that to the card front.
·       Punch out a 1 inch circle using the 1 inch circle punch from Pineapple Punch cardstock to create the Sun and adhere that to the stitched circle
·       Stamp several sets of boats from the Lilypad lake stamp set, colour in with Stampin’ Write Markers (I used Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Pineapple Punch and Crumb Cake), then cut them out using the coordinating die from the Lakeside Framelets. Adhere to the stitched circle.

Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist Vases

How to make this card –

·       Fold half an A4 sheet of Fresh Fig cardstock in half to create an A6 card base

·       Cut a matt of Fresh Fig cardstock to 9.5 x 13.9cm and emboss with the Quilt Top embossing folder, then adhere this to the Fresh Fig base.

·       Using the largest square from Stitched Shape Framelet dies, cut a Whisper White Square and a Lemon Lime Twist Square.

·       Using the second largest square from Stitched Shape Framelet dies, cut the middle away from the Lemon Lime Twist square to leave you with a frame.

·       On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp vases from the Varied Vases stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig and Garden Green inks, then punch them out using the coordinating punch.

·       Using a flower image from the Varied Vases stamp set, and with the stitched Whisper White square as a diamond shape, stamp the flowers so that they will end up appearing behind one of the vases once you have stuck it down with a dimensional.

·       Adhere a piece of a Pearlised Doily to the back of the Whisper White, and then adhere the Whisper White square to the embossed piece with some Tombow glue.

·       Using Mini Stampin Dimensionals, adhere the Lemon Lime Twist frame over the Whisper White square, then adhere the vases over the stamped flowers and frame as desired.

·       And for a final little flourish of detail, add a bow made with coordinating ribbon to the corner of the frame.

High Tide A5 Eclipse Card

(Credit to France Martin for this design)

How to -

·       Fold an A4 sheet of thick whisper white cardstock in half to create an A6 card base.

·       On an 8.5 x 12.9cm piece of whisper white cardstock, stamp out a scene using the images from the High Tide stamp set in my new favorite neutral – grey granite

·       I stamped a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in the top right hand corner in black memento ink

·       I then placed the letter dies that I wanted to cut out face down on this stamped piece and ran it through my Big Shot.

·       I removed the letters then adhered the die cut scene to a piece of grey granite cardstock measuring 9.5 x 13.9cm

·       I laid the letters into the spaces next so that I could get perfect placement of the inside of the A and D’s which I adhered flat to the grey granite

·       I then removed the letters and used 2 layers of mini dimensionals on the back of the letters to adhere them to the spaces in the stamped panel

·       This panel was then adhered to the white card base.
